Fourty-four schools have chosen to become Indiana’s first TAP™ class. These schools will launch the TAP program during the 2011-12 school year after nearly 12 months of preparation and training. Indiana’s TAP schools elected to be part of the initial Teacher Incentive Fund grant proposal from the Indiana Department of Education in 2010 and had at least 75 percent of the certified teaching staff within the school vote in favor of implementing the program.
