Thank you for your interest in the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning, what you might commonly hear referred to as CELL. Our organization has been engaged in education transformation work across Indiana since 2001, in part due to generous funding from Lilly Endowment and support from the University of Indianapolis.

CELL serves as Indiana’s leading convener and catalyst for innovative education change. We at CELL pride ourselves on bringing the right people to the table to enact sustainable, statewide education transformation to improve academic success for Hoosier students and to promote economic advancement in Indiana. We do this by serving as a “big tent organization”—non-partisan in our thinking and 100 percent committed to improving the academic achievement and educational opportunities of Indiana’s K-12 students.

CELL’s work reflects and responds to Indiana’s ever-changing educational landscape. Ultimately, the Center’s goal is to make Indiana a national model for educational excellence. Ours should be a state in which every student graduates from high school college-ready and prepared for success in the 21st century. While Indiana has made major strides to embrace many educational innovations, there is still more to be done. We invite you to join these education transformation efforts and partner with us on our many initiatives. We believe there is no greater investment one can make than in the future of Indiana’s students.
