New Learning Opportunities Available for Zebra New Tech's Second Year

Zebra New Tech High has major curriculum changes planned for students in the fall. Having nearly completed its inaugural year, the school is expanding learning opportunities and course offerings as it prepares to add the 10th grade to the New Tech program and welcomes a new class of freshmen.

A new English course with digital media will be available for 10th-grade students. The school also will add the Project Lead the Way Bio-Med course to expand the scope and rigor of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in the curriculum. The district is exploring offering foreign language in grades K–12 and adding Chinese as a course in the high school. To expand learning opportunities outside of the high school, Zebra New Tech will provide videoconferencing for students to enable them to share their work with peers around the world.
