This is a question often faced by an organization that focuses on transforming education through innovative educational models and programs. Rather than focusing on educational “fads,” CELL invests in research and evaluation to discover promising educational practices and to promote proven ones. A skilled team of qualitative and quantitative analysts conduct research and evaluation both of CELL’s initiatives and of those educational movements gaining traction across the state and throughout the country. This work not only brings the best educational programs to Indiana, but examines CELL’s on-the-ground reform efforts to evaluate successes, identify challenges, and recommend revisions that will increase academic achievement for all students. CELL regularly publishes and presents its research findings to advance education transformation efforts both in Indiana and throughout the nation.
