Message from the Executive Director

Since our inception, thanks to a generous investment from the Lilly Endowment, the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis has been focused on transforming learning, teaching, and leadership in Indiana’s K-12 schools and universities.

Over the years, CELL’s approach has been to convene, collaborate, engage, and empower educators to make meaningful changes for students. Today, while the world of education looks different than it did at our founding in 2001, we are just as committed to the idea that "talk alone won’t work" - we must produce action-oriented outcomes if we are to make sustainable statewide change that improves academic success for Hoosier students.

I invite you to learn more about CELL’s current projects, and I hope you will join us in our efforts to ensure high-quality innovations and opportunities exist for all of Indiana’s schools, educators, and students.
